For the past 20+ years, Simon has successfully owned, operated and developed several animal related businesses from Pet care, Boarding facilities, Pet transport Companies and Stockair. 

Simon created Stockair after gaining the skills and knowledge to transport smaller animals and seeing the need to provide a safe and efficient service for livestock. Starting with goats, Stockair has now grown to be Australia’s largest facilitator to export livestock by air, thanks to Simon’s knowledge, commitment and expertise. 

As a committed leader to the safe relocation of animals, Simon imparts a strong knowledge of ASEL, ESCAS, IATA’S Live Animal Regulations and air transport protocol to the benefit of Stockair clients.

Simon is an advocate for the live export by air industry and support many industry initiatives. He also serves as the President of the International Pet and Animal Transportation Association, Chair of LiveAir and Vice President of QLEA.

Bernie McDonald joined Stockair as an expert in crate manufacturing over 10 years ago.

With his extensive knowledge in crates, air transport logistics and animal transport practices,  Bernie has the expertise to ensure every aspect of your animal's transportation is planned and fulfilled to the finest detail.

As the Manager of Logistics and Procurement, Bernie  can coordinate all of your transport logistical needs such aircraft charter, load planning and recording, airport loading, export document management and approved arrangements.
